During the opening ceremony of the festival, our festival director Dario van Vree will give a speech to inform everyone on the state of Dutch animation, the growth spurt of the festival itself and what our visitors can expect. We'll also show a number of films that highlight the themes of our festival such as Judas & Jesus, Monkey Joy and others accompanied by Q&A's with some of the film makers present. The opening ceremony will finish with a complementary snack and drink in the foyer of Kriterion. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve tickets for this event but the festivities in the foyer are free of charge.
