Willem Thijssen from the Dutch Film Fund will be joined by filmmakers and producers such as Michiel Snijders (il Luster), Sjoerd Raemakers (Telescreen) and Hans Walther (Motek Entertainment) to discuss the process, state and future of the Dutch animated feature. Disney cartoonist and storyboard artist Daan Jippes (Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Mulan) will guide us through the whats, whys and hows of the storyboarding system used in big American studios like Disney and Dreamworks. Besides talking about his experiences, he’ll also put words into action by critiquing a storyboard on the spot. Daan Jippes will be assisted by junior storyboard artist Joscha van Deijk.
