Watching all these animated gems sure makes you work up a mighty appetite, but naturally you don’t want to leave the comfy confines of EYE and miss out on any films. That’s why, together with the EYE Bar-Restaurant, we've arranged KLIK! Dish, a daily supper for the low, low price of €10. KLIK! Dish is available from Thursday to Sunday, between 17h30 and 19h30. Every day there’s a different KLIK! Dish, serving up typically Dutch suppers, of course in both meaty as well as vegetarian flavours.

Thursday: Heavenly Hotchpotch
Friday: Luscious Lasagne
Saturday: Savoury Sauerkraut
Sunday: Leek Stompit!

You can get your daily KLIK! Dish tickets at the EYE ticket desk.

The KLIK! Amsterdam Animation Festival has the honor of calling the swanky, brand spanking new filmmuseum EYE as its main festival location for the very first time this year. The EYE houses our screening rooms, workshop spaces, our festival desk, the festival foyer and most importantly, the festival bar and restaurant! EYE will also be the location where we’ll host our Q&A sessions, have our opening and closing ceremonies and festivities and our Saturday night kick-ass party extravaganza!

Amsterdam is the perfect city to explore by bike: you don't have to wait for a tram or bus, you're never stuck in traffic and you can easily park. That means you're free to do as you please and go to the city inbetween the festival screenings. MacBike has 4 rental shops in the centre of Amsterdam which are open and have bikes available every day.

MacBike kindly supports KLIK! and makes its visitors happy by giving a 25% discount when you rent one of MacBike's bikes! Just show your festival ticket to get the discount.

By public transport/bike/foot
When you exit the back entrance of the Central Station, you’ll be able to see the shiny white architectural perfection that is EYE. Walk to the ferry docking station at the Ruyterkade and take the ferry to Buiksloterweg. Pick one of the two ferries leaving from the dock on the center. You can take your bike along on the ferry, so take that noble steel steed with you. From the Buiksloterweg ferry station, it’s a short walk to EYE. All together the whole trip takes no more than 5 minutes. The ferry will continue to transport our faithful audience throughout the night, so don’t worry that your hard partying will leave you stranded in the (though lovely) confines of Amsterdam Noord.

By car
Navigate to Tolhuisweg 5 (since IJpromenade, the street where EYE is located, is not yet found by electronic car systems). EYE can be reached through the IJ-tunnel or highway A10. Coming from one of these, take sideway S116 direction S118 to the Johan van Hasseltweg > at Mosplein turn left to the Van der Pekstraat > this street will turn into the Buiksloterweg > turn right at the first bend towards the Tolhuisweg > keep going straight, you'll find parkingspace right behind the building.

If you're looking for a fancy place to stay, we highly recommend the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel – it's just a few steps away from Central Station and EYE!

The contemporary hotel is situated in the charming historic centre of Amsterdam and offers a warm and welcoming lobby, renovated guest accommodations with Renaissance Bedding, broadband internet access, HDTV and much more.
