When the Romanian Cladiu Crulic is falsely arrested in Poland for the theft of a wallet, he tries to prove his innocence by going on a hunger strike. This animated documentary made using a wide array of techniques tells a tragic true tale that happened in 2008 and which led to a scandal in Polish politics. Crulic: The Path to Beyond won the prestigious Cristal award at the Annecy festival and now screens at KLIK! as part of EYE’s Previously Unreleased program.
