The world of film festivals can be a jungle: exciting and luxuriant but sometimes to the point it gets overwhelming and impenetrable! So let KLIK! take care of the submission of your film to festivals!
How can KLIK! help me?
First, we set-up a festival strategy together: what countries you are interesting in (it can be the entire world!), how many festivals you want us to submit your film to, how you feel about submission fees…
Then we begin the festival submissions, keeping in touch with you at all times.
When your film is selected by a festival, we first let you know about it! And of course, we take care of sending the master copy and the promotional material.
How much will it cost me?
- For each, submission, we ask for € 15,00.
- There is an exception for the submissions through WAB, SFD, Reelport, Moviebeta… We ask € 15,00 for the first submission, then for € 5,00 for the following ones.
- When your film is selected, we ask for an extra € 5,00.
- We will advance the technical and transportation costs induced by the submission and the selection of your film and ask you to reimburse them periodically.
To keep you constantly informed about the submission and selection process and the costs we are engaging, we set up and share with you a Google Drive sheet.
We send you an invoice every three months, that includes our fees for the submission and the selection of your film and the sums we advanced.
What material do I need to send you?
- 2 screening copies (for example DCP, digibeta Pal, Beta SP Pal, blu-ray)
- digital file of your film (H.264 quicktime file and/or Apple ProRes file) - your bio- and filmography - your photo
- 5 stills from your film (.jpg – 300dpi)
- technical data of your film (like in an production sheet)
- an overview of which festivals your film already has been submitted and selected
- press-kit, for example post cards, flyers or posters
- preview dvd’s (or we can make them for you for a small fee)
