World Domination Award

What’s that?

This year marks the second time we get to present the KLIK! World Domination Award. This pretty new, though already highly coveted award will honor an organization, studio or individual that helped Dutch animation take another crucial step towards world domination (particularly in 2014).

All throughout September you—yes, you there!—could have nominated organizations, studios or individuals who you think show great promise for Holland’s animated future. During KLIK!’s Opening Ceremony our esteemed jury will finally reveal just which of the ambitious nominees will take home the prestigious prize.

Meet last year’s nominees

Erik-Jan de Boer (winner), Dutch animation director who won the 2013 Visual Effects Academy Award for his work on Life of Pi while still keeping a keen eye on the new Dutch animation generation.

Bruno Felix, co-founder of Submarine, one of the (now more than ever) leading transmedia production companies from the Netherlands.

KLOMP! Animation, a young animation studio in Rotterdam that started off with a bang, creating series for Stan Lee/POW! and an Ultrakort short.
